With Brooklyn roots that stretch back more than a century, Saadiah Fowlkes offers an unprecedented understanding of the borough's past, present and future.
Born in Clinton Hill and raised in Bed-Stuy, prior to real estate, Saadiah was a teacher in the city. He later moved to Germany where he taught English, primarily to businesspeople, including many in real estate. While learning the industry terms and concepts for his students, he became passionate about pursuing the profession himself. Today, working with trusted associate Mona Kamal on The Belisario Team, Saadiah adheres to the core values of honesty, integrity and transparency — the HIT list, as he calls it — in everything he does.
As a longtime teacher, Saadiah is incredibly adept at educating clients on the marketplace. His extensive time overseas has granted him the ability to connect to people easily with active listening and a real interest in their needs. He has an entrepreneurial spirit, and he's known among his clients for his willingness to go above and beyond to meet their goals.
Saadiah is proud to live in a Bed-Stuy brownstone home that has been in his family for more than 100 years. In his free time, he enjoys recording music with his professional musician father.
