About Shaheem Ivory

?You don?t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.? These were words spoken at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. by the great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. These were words that Brooklyn native Shaheem Ivory has lived by since studying King?s famous ?I Have a Dream? speech in high school. As a full time college student in 2009, Shaheem was unemployed and looking for work when he bet on himself, got his real estate license, and never looked back. With an innate ability to deal with pressure and stress, Shaheem has been able to put his clients at ease during the relocation process. Clients feel comfortable with his amazing work ethic, and product knowledge. After his first full year in real estate, he was one of the top ten agents in production at his company. As he approached his sophomore year, he took on more of a leadership role. He began training newly assigned agents and began managing one of the top producing offices in the company. These abilities led to other opportunities within the organization. Real estate wasn?t Shaheem?s first love. Shaheem has always loved working with children. A life long sports fanatic, and former high school and college baseball player, he loves teaching the game of baseball, basketball, and football. He has worked with youth sports organizations in the past as a coach and assistant coach. He teaches the sports to his own children, as well as the neighborhood children in Bedford Stuyvesant where he grew up. ?I just love seeing children playing sports. Too many of our youth are detached from the rest of the world because they are too connected their electronic devices.? He is very active in his childrens? schools, and is lobbying to acquire more business, finance, and sports activities in NYC public schools. By doing so, children can become more connected to ?the real world? and will be better abled to seamlessly transition to adulthood. Equipped with these basic elements, Shaheem believes these are a part of the core foundation to lead successful lives. It is Shaheem?s philanthropist demeanor, and his desire to provide a satisfactory and positive experience, that has kept him in the real estate business since 2009. He has helped hundreds of people relocate in the fastest moving city in the world. A student of the business, Shaheem is always abreast to what is going on in the real estate market that changes daily. This allows him to always adapt and keep clients in tune with what?s going on. He has a proven track record, and is looking forward to bigger opportunities in the future.
