Pines, Water, and National Forest Access

Located in northern Lawrence County just south of Oak Hill, you will discover this 42.11 +/- acre diamond in the rough. The land is very secluded and borders thousands of acres of the Wayne National Forest. There is a shared pond with fish, beaver, and seasonal waterfowl located in the center of the tract. Across the water, stands approximately 20 acres of yellow pines ranging from 8-15 inches in diameter. Deer and wild turkey sign is abundant throughout. There is even an easement to access the property which at one time seemed to be an old railroad track used to haul coal out of the local mines. On the far end of the property past the pines, you will find mature hardwoods with mast-producing oaks, hickory, and persimmon. Other timber includes poplar, maple, and beech.
