Why am I charged as soon as I sign up?  Some MLS members may notice a slight delay between paying for their membership and their account's complete activation. We do not charge a setup fee or initiation fee for membership, however we do require first payment prior to processing your application. Accounts are approved during regular business hours. You may experience a slight delay in membership approval during off hours or during period of high member traffic.

Why does my Broker need to fill out a Broker Participation Form?  As a licensee, you are working under a Broker or Managing Broker, who is responsible for you and your actions. Managing Broker must fill out this form to acknowledge you will be using this system to search and market homes while operating under thier license. There is no cost to your Broker or your company to participate.

How do I change my password?
Method 1) 
After loging click on the "Change Password" option from the "Account" Drop down found at the top of any page.
Method 2) Click on the "My Account" button found on the left hand side bar. From there, you will see the option to change your password. Passwords must contain at least 8 character to be valid.

How many listings can I add?  MLS members can add as many listings as they wish. However, individual members may be subjected a five dollar ($5.00) per listing fee at the sole discresion of State Listings, Inc., NY State MLS, and My State MLS.

Your system is telling me my license has expired, what can I do? - Have no fear.  It's just that we don't have your most updated license information.  Simply follow the steps for "How do I update my license information in your system?" below.

How do I change my company name and address? - Your company information (also called office information) is cross referenced with state databases.  Your real estate agent license number is tied to your office.  To update our system records, simply follow the steps for "How do I update my license information in your system?" below.

How do I update my license information in your system? - If your license number, expiration date, office name, or address has changed recently, follow these steps:

  • Click on "Edit My Account" link found under the "Account" drop down at the top of your screen.
  • Scroll down and then click the "Edit License" link.
  • Enter your license (if it is different than the one already filled in) and click the "Confirm" button.
  • If the information that appears is valid, click the "Save License" button
  • Your company, office address, license number, and license expiration are now updated in our system.
