Matt Horton joined the National Land Realty team of Land Professionals in December 2023. Before coming to National Land Realty, Matt worked as a Biologist for 22 years.  He attended the University of Alabama where he received his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science in 2000 as well as his master’s degree in Physical Geography with a concentration on environmental policy and GIS in 2003. Matt is also President of his local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation and has also served on their State Board in Alabama. Matt’s deep understanding of natural processes and habitat needs for a variety of wildlife species coupled with his extensive background in GIS make him an exceptionally effective Land Professional! He also received his Certified Prescribed Burn Manager in Alabama.  In his free time, Matt enjoys beekeeping, hunting, and fishing around his home in Bay Minette, Alabama.
