Michael Smith joined the National Land Realty team of Land Professionals in February 2024, bringing with him more than a decade of property management expertise! After graduating high school in 2003, Michael studied business administration at Georgia Perimeter College. Before coming to National Land Realty, Michael worked in the energy sector supporting various utility providers across the United States such as Enbridge, Spectra Energy, Southern Company, and Atlanta Gas Light with their land acquisition needs. Prior to entering the energy sector, Michael spent 10 years in the property management industry working alongside some of the largest Multi-family property management companies throughout the Atlanta metro. He is a member of the International Right-of-Way Association and his experience with timber and agricultural land valuation, knowledge of easements and rights-of-ways, soils, and appraisal, make him an excellent Land Professional! In his free time, Michael enjoys hunting whitetails and waterfowl, golfing, and being outdoors. He and his wife, Lindsey, are based out of Central Georgia where they live with their daughter, Lyla Kate, and their two dogs, Hank and Merle.
