Personal Journey:

Born in Bogotá, Colombia as Cielo Cepeda, Sara was given up for adoption to the FANA Orphanage in January 1977. Adopted later that year, she was brought to the United States at three months old and grew up in Long Island, Brooklyn, and Queens.

At the age of 36, Sara embarked on a journey to find her biological mother. After extensive internet searching and the support of a colleague, she located her mother on Facebook. However, she discovered that her existence was unknown—her biological mother, who had given birth as a teenager, was told that Sara did not survive. This revelation created a whirlwind of emotions for all involved but ultimately led to a meaningful reunion with her family in Colombia. This life-changing experience gave Sara a new sense of purpose and inspired her to help others achieve their personal and professional goals. As a result, she founded the Through the Eyes of a Rainbow Child Foundation and remains committed to life and wellness coaching.
