It was formerly Kennedi's restaurant, and the sign for Kennedi's is still at the east end of the site on S Hairston. Because the frontage of the site is a steep embankment and the majority of the site is well above S Hairston, access to the site is though the north access drive into the Pep Boys facility via an easement across the Pep Boys site. In addition, a 1997 deed between predecessor owners appears to grant an easement through the southern paved portion of the site to a lot behind the site presently owned by the former owner of the auction property. The former owner has parked a number of vehicles on the rear portion of the tract, along with some debris at the SW corner. The 2015 survey indicates the tract is 2.01 acres, but the tax records indicate it is only 1.25 acres. A visual inspection and examination of the survey features and Google Aerial of the site raises concerns that the property owner behind the site is encroaching into the site with grading work he is doing there. A 1997 sign easement gives the owner of the property behind the auction site easement rights to a sign along S Hairston, which appears to be the Kennedi's sign.
