Cass County, TX 53 Acres $91, 000 This tract of land is located approximately 5.5 miles northwest of Linden, TX off of FM 1399. The land does have a 30 foot wide permanent easement from FM 1399 to the tract. The land includes a 30 foot strip of land that goes from the west end of the 30 foot easement to the larger part of the tract, giving it legal access from FM 1399. Some work does need to be done along this 30 foot strip to make it accessible by pickup. Approximately 49 acres of the tract was harvested in 2013 and then interplanted with improved loblolly pine seedlings in 2018. The stand was aerially herbicided to control hardwood competition with the planted pines. There are also some scattered native pine seedlings and saplings interspersed with the planted pines. Hardwoods were left along the stream that flows through the tract. There is 70 feet elevation change on this property. Located in the Linden-Kildare ISD.
